Since the death of her parents in a tragic fire, Elianna Elwood has been plagued with nightmares of a strange woman screaming for help. These dreams have only gotten more intense over time and have grown acutely worse ever since she agreed to spend the summer with her college roommate and best friend, Libby Greenfield, in the picture-perfect town of Chelsea, Maine.

Although brand new in town, Elianna mysteriously receives an invitation to an exclusive murder mystery party being held at the Knight Estate, the site of an infamous 1920s murder that has gone unsolved. Upon stepping inside, she finds out to her horror that her nightmares have come to life. This house—and this murder victim—are identical matches to the place and person in her dreams. With the aid of a mysterious antique mirror inside the house, she starts to unravel the case to find a vicious killer.
